Known for biting commentary, outrageous jokes and lots of celebrity snark, E!'s Fashion Police will resume with a special on the Golden Globe Awards on January 12, but an iconic and raspy voice will be missing from the mix.
Following the death of the 81-year-old Joan Rivers in September, the actress and comedienne Kathy Griffin has been hired as a fourth presenter. Co-host Giuliana Rancic, who lost a close friend in Rivers, says it is time to head back. "It's hard," she says. "I'm glad we took so many months off." Although Rancic does not yet know how the show might honour the late star, she says: "I'm sure Joan will be involved in some way."
A new set, segments and games will give the show, which is broadcast in the UAE on OSN, a new feel, she says. It will also switch to a format of 17 specials rather than a weekly slot. While Kelly Osbourne will remain, fellow original co-host George Kotsiopoulos will be replaced by the TV personality Brad Goreski.
