A three-day event showcasing Japanese manga, anime and much more will take place in Abu Dhabi from October 27-29. Staged in the capital’s du Arena, the exhibition will also feature musical acts from Japan alongside interactive sessions with animators and directors.
Arafat Ali Khan, co-founder of Middle East Film & Comic Con, hinted at the creation of a new Japanese pop-culture show when he spoke to The National earlier this month.
“I can’t give too much away, but we’re going to be launching an event in Abu Dhabi in October.” he said.
The announcement comes on the heels of Middle East Film & Comic Con which celebrating its fifth anniversary at Dubai’s World Trade Centre from April 7-9.
