Get your horns at the ready. Flash has confirmed that Metallica will be performing at Yas Island on October 25. The group - which has sold in excess of 100 million albums and are regarded by many as among the best heavy metallers around - will be playing as part of the Yas Island Show Weekends and will no doubt bring the UAE's dark-shirted hard rock scene out in force.
As part of the same series of concerts, Janet Jackson will be performing two weeks earlier, on October 13. Metallica fans should double check the dates when buying tickets. No one wants to see moshing during That's The Way Love Goes.
