After performing in last year's final of the talent show Munshid Al Sharjah, Maher Zain now wants to sit on a judging panel. The Swedish Lebanese singer and superstar of the nasheed genre, said he wants to share some of the experience with aspiring artists.
"I really enjoyed performing in Munshid Al Sharjah final and to see all the new talent that are coming through," he said. "To get involved in a show like that will be great as I do want to share what I know and help people grow their talent." Zain said he is working on releasing a new song during Ramadan: "all I can say it is about the power of Dhikr (the remembrance of God)".
