John Travolta will be in Dubai for the first time next week on a promotional tour for the Australian airline Qantas.
The Hollywood star, tapped by Qantas as a celebrity ambassador, is scheduled to talk to the press on September 9 at Music Hall, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.
"I'm really excited. I've wanted to experience Dubai for many years now and the launch of Qantas services to Dubai has given me the perfect opportunity to do so," the 59-year-old actor said in a statement. "I'll spend the week touring the emirate," he added.
Travolta recently starred in the action film Killing Season with Robert De Niro.
He is set to make an appearance on the premiere week of Queen Latifah's new talk show, which will begin broadcasting on American television on September 16.
Qantas will give fans the opportunity to meet Travolta in person on September 12.
