Reorganising your wardrobe can be satisfying – it allows you to take stock of everything you own, find things easily and make sure that you’re wearing lots of different outfits rather than the same old things. A well-ordered wardrobe will save time every day.
Make sure that you’re taking advantage of all available space, including the insides of wardrobe doors. A few strategically placed hooks can be used to hang bags, necklaces, belts, etc. If you’re struggling for space, invest in hanging canvas storage sleeves, such as Ikea’s Skubb. Clear plastic storage boxes are also a great place to keep sheets, shawls or winter clothing.
If you’re feeling extra organised, introduce labels, creating dedicated spaces for certain types of clothing.

Be smart about organising your clothing. There are different ways to do it – group by colour or type, for example. Find out what works for you – you may prefer to group clothing based on work clothes, casual, evening wear, etc. Don’t forget to constantly get rid of things that you don’t need. Sell them at a flea market or donate them to charity – don’t let them take up valuable space.
