Prince’s backup singer joins cast of Pitch Perfect 3
Andy Allo, an actress and singer songwriter who used to be a backup singer and guitar player for Prince, is joining the cast of Pitch Perfect 3 according to ew.com. Allo who was a protégé of Prince and even had him produce her debut album, will star in the new film as a rival singer to the a-cappella group The Barden Bellas. Morpheus at the centre of new Matrix film
The new film in The Matrix franchise will focus on the younger Morpheus, according to aceshowbiz.com. The website reports that a source at Warner Bros revealed the movie may come in the form of a prequel centering on Morpheus, the mentor-like character to Keanu Reeve's leading role and who was portrayed by Laurence Fishburne in the original three films. Many Bollywood celebrities paid their last respects to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishnaraj Rai who passed away on Saturday at a suburban hospital in Mumbai. He had been in hospital for the past few weeks battling cancer. The funeral was on the same day and several celebrites such as Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sujoy Ghosh, Ashutosh Gowariker were in attendance.
