If you thought the likes of Michael Fassbender had a somewhat hectic filming schedule, prepare to meet Mansoor Al Feeli.
The Emirati actor is officially the busiest man at the 6th Gulf Film Festival, which opened on Thursday, appearing in not one, not two, but seven films in the festival’s lineup. With roles spanning romance to political dramas, his list of titles includes Where Are We, Sunset, Royal Love, Rain Without Clouds, Murk Lights, Men Subdue and Line of Freedom.
If you want to hear more about this somewhat prolific actor, check out our in-depth interview with him in Sunday’s Arts&Life, in which we’ll be discussing his roles, the challenges in regional cinema, what he likes about supporting emerging filmmakers and why he’s off to New York once the festival is over.
Or you could just catch him in one of his films. There are rather a few to choose from.
