Dubai's favourite EDM duo Hollaphonic woke to some exciting news on Sunday — legendary DJ Fatboy Slim had chosen to feature the vocals from one of their tracks on his new Beats 1 show on Apple Music.

Fatboy Slim used the vocals from Greg Stainer and Olly Wood's track Surrounded By Bass in his Disco Ball re-edit of Sharam Jey's Bass.

"Norman Cook [Fatboy Slim] is an absolute icon, and to not only have his support but for him to use the track in such an iconic show with such creativity is awesome. It's a big spin for us. The UAE is getting proper high profile spins now and it's really exciting. First Carl Cox drops Raxon's banging remix of Reste then FatBoy Slim drops Surrounded By Bass. The world is looking at the talent in the Middle East more than ever now ... it's really exciting!" says Wood.

It was a special show for Cook marking 20 years since the release of his Better Living Through Chemistry album. Listen to the anniversary show here — you can hear Bass at around the four-minute mark.

Hollaphonic have been busy of late with a trip back to their native London to film a Red Bull documentary about their musical journey and record in the Red Bull studios. You can watch the episodes on their Facebook page.

The duo is due to perform at Fiesta De Los Muertos at Dubai's Autism Rocks Arena concert on October 28. More here.
