Yas Viceroy is used to welcoming star guests to its luxurious presidential suite, though probably never any as likely to shed fur on the furnishings as the current crop of celebrity residents.
Sesame Street favourites Bert and Ernie, alongside Elmo and Prairie Dawn, checked into the suite earlier today ahead of the six show run of Elmo Makes Music, which runs twice daily at Du Forum from August 6-8.
Our informants tell us that the rest of the cast will be joining them in the hotel later today, so it’s to be hoped room service have stocked up in advance if the Cookie Monster is among the second batch of furry holidaymakers checking in this evening.
