Dubai Marina Mall is bringing free family films to the outdoor screen on Marina Promenade every weekend until April.
The screenings begin on January 20 at 5.30pm with Pixar's animated favourite Cars, about racing car Lightning McQueen, who finds himself stranded in the sleepy town of Radiator Springs, followed at 8pm by Disney's fairy-tale classic Cinderella, about a downtrodden young woman who is forced to work as a maid for her nasty stepmother and stepsisters, before a fairy godmother gives her the chance to win the heart of a prince.
Grab a bean bag (first come first served, so come early), get some snacks from the on-site food truck, relax and enjoy the film.
The fun continues on Saturday with a wildlife theme. The Lion King, one of Disney's best-loved and most-acclaimed animations, is the 5.30pm film, followed by Finding Dory, last year's megahit sequel to Finding Nemo, at 8pm.
Screenings will continue every Friday and Saturday until April. Check the mall's website for the schedule.
