Damon Feldman offered both artists US$1 million (Dh3.67m) each in addition to another million dollars to charity if both agree to don the gloves.

According to New York Daily News, the billionaire soda-king Alki David is behind the deal and hired Feldman to sound out the warring stars.

However, Feldman explains the bout would be designed to be less vicious than the brawl involving both artists' entourages in Manhattan's W.i.P club on June 14.

"Obviously they have a grudge," Feldman said. "It's just three one-minute rounds. No one will get seriously hurt."

A Brown spokesperson told the paper the singer "never heard" of the deal.
