Catch a screening of the 1940 American movie The Grapes of Wrath, as part of A Hard Day's Night film programme presented by Alserkal Avenue and Cinema Akil, which focuses on the workforce, the manufacturing and industry. Based on the John Steinbeck novel of the same name and starring Henry Fonda and Jane Darwell, The Grapes of Wrath follows a poor family, who are forced off their land during the Great Depression, as they travel to California to find work.
