See the 2014 French-Mauritanian film Timbuktu as part of Cine Club. The film is about Kidane, who lives peacefully with his family outside of Timbuktu and away from the regime of terror imposed by those in control. But when Kidane accidentally kills a fisherman, he must face the new laws of the foreign occupants. Enjoy a screening of the 1974 adaptation of The Great Gatsby, starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow.
