Head to Sharjah for the last weekend of the Sharjah Light Festival to enjoy illuminations on the architecture at 13 locations, combined with beautifully composed music in displays of colour, images and lights inspired by subjects including beauty, science, creativity and knowledge. Locations include Masjid Al Noor, Khalid Lagoon and Al Majaz Waterfront.

Attend a screening of Karima: A Day in the Life of a Henna Girl, directed by photographer Hassan Hajjaj, on the opening night of GPP Photo Week and as part of the Work in Progress film series by Cinema Akil and Alserkal Avenue. The documentary follows the mother, wife, henna artist and Marrakech icon who, along with Hajjaj, will conduct a Q&A following the film. Additionally, Hajjaj's works will be exhibited at The Third Line Gallery, where Karima will host a henna station tomorrow from noon to 5pm.
