Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson is set to make her UAE debut with a performance in Abu Dhabi.
The Lush Life singer will headline the capital's Mother of the Nation festival, which is set to take place from Thursday, March 26 to Saturday, April 4.
Larsson became a household name at the age of 10 after winning the second season of Talang, the reality TV franchise Got Talent, in 2008. Now 22, she has since gone on to release a sting of chart-topping singles and support Ed Sheeran on his sold-out world tour.
Her hits include Don't Worry Bout Me and Invisible, while Larsson has also collaborated with the likes of MNEK, David Guetta and Tinie Tempah.
It seems the UAE show will be a dream come true for the pop star, who said she would "love to come and play a show" in Abu Dhabi or Dubai when she spoke to The National in December.
Larsson will perform on Friday, April 3. Tickets are now on sale, starting at Dh125 for the silver category, and Dh315 for gold. The ticket price will also allow entry into the festival for its duration.
Held along a kilometre of Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, Mother of the Nation 2020 will deliver 10 days of live entertainment and activity zones offering something for all ages.
Tickets for the festival cost Dh20 for children and Dh30 for adults.

In the summer of 2021 she played for Wales against England in rugby league, in a match that was broadcast live on TV.

The trip
Plovdiv is 150km from Sofia, with an hourly bus service taking around 2 hours and costing $16 (Dh58). The Rhodopes can be reached from Sofia in between 2-4hours.
