Want to have your voice heard? If the answer is yes, then you might be interested in Flash Entertainment’s call for talent.
Flash has today announced that it is bringing back its annual Emerging Talent Competition for another year as part of Yasalam, which is part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix programme.
Those interested can apply by submitting audio or video material along with an answered questionnaire to Flash through the Yasalam website before September 30.
A team of local music and entertainment professionals will then select 10 shortlisted artists or bands to participate.
Those chosen will receive guidance on developing their talent through tailored workshops and mentorship programmes and will get the chance to perform a live acoustic session at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall.
Judges will then pick the top three finalists who will compete for a chance to perform at Yasalam 2017.
New to this year’s competition, however, will be the opportunity for fans to pick the fourth finalist by voting for a wildcard entry.
The winner will secure a year-long residence in The Village, du Arena and get the opportunity to perform on The Village stage on the last evening of the Yasalam After-Race Concerts.
The judging panel for this year’s edition will be announced in the coming weeks.
