In another impressive turnout, Exo fans made their presence known as the K-pop supergroup was honoured with an LED light and sound show on the façade of the Burj Khalifa on Saturday.

While the group wasn’t actually in town this time (since they’re currently on tour in Seoul), it made little difference. With signs and light sticks in tow, fans turned out in droves just to watch the show.

The visual spectacle, lasting around three minutes, showed all the faces of the nine members and was played along to their song Lucky. As fans screamed for their favourite member, perhaps one of the loudest unified reactions came when the Burj Khalifa flashed the group's saying of "We Are One" to close out the show.

An added bonus for fans in attendance was that they also got to see Exo's Dubai Fountain show which uses their hit song Power (which was added to the list of melodies back in January and performed by the band during the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Games).

The boy band was last in Dubai in April as part of SM Town Live, a four-hour extravaganza that saw them perform their hit songs along with a bevy of other K-pop stars under SM Entertainment including Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, BoA, Red Velvet, SHINee and others.

Exo-Ls around the world react

For Exo-Ls (the nickname given to fans of the band), the event was one not to be missed. They took to social media during the event:

With some left to wonder, where next?

So what is actually next? The group will continue their tour while their song Power can next be heard in the World Cup final between France and Croatia. The group won a Twitter poll conducted by Fifa in which the winners were promised to have their songs heard during one of the world's biggest sporting events.
