Venue change: Dido's Dubai concert moved to Coca-Cola Arena

The UAE is set to see potential strong winds and rain on the day of the event, so her concert has been moved indoors

Dido is making her UAE debut with a concert on Friday, December 13 but fans should take note that there's been a last-minute venue change. Originally, the Thank You singer was set to perform outdoors at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre but because of potential strong winds and rain on the day of the event, her gig has now been moved to the Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk. Tickets are still available, priced from Dh295.

Dido is probably best known for her soulful and chilled hits, or Stan, her highly charged and emotional 2000 collaboration with Eminem.

The concert has been organised by Mission Control X, a Dubai events management company who is also responsible for Abu Dhabi's The Big Grill Festival.

Dido is currently touring her latest album, Still On My Mind, which includes songs Hurricanes, Friends and Give You Up. She is travelling around South America and Europe throughout November and early December, with dates in Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Amsterdam and Glasgow, to name just four.

It is the first time she has been on tour in 15 years, having initially stopped in 2003.
