Take five... Eye of The Tiger - Rocky III (1982)

After his request for Queen's anthem Another One Bites the Dust was denied, Sylvester Stallone approached Survivor to write the theme song for Rocky III. The move was an inspired one, as Eye of The Tiger was a global chart-topper.

The Academy Award-winning ballad remains Judy Garland's most memorable performance. The second verse, deleted from the movie, can still be heard in some theatrical productions.

The composer James Horner was told by Titanic's director James Cameron not to record a vocal version of the theme song. Horner invited Celine Dion into the vocal booth anyway. Cameron eventually approved.

Synth-pop group Berlin's biggest hit. The video clip shows the singer Terri Nunni wearing blue overalls as she performs the song in an empty aircraft hanger.
