Grime artist Stormzy is coming to Dubai. The UK rapper will launch his world tour from Dubai with a one-night performance on Friday, February 7, 2020. Fans will want to see their alarm clocks as tickets for his Heavy Is The Head show in Dubai go on sale on Wednesday, December 4 at 8am. It's been a massive year for the 26-year-old artist who headlined Glastonbury in June becoming the first black solo artist to do so. The dynamic rapper took to the stage at Glastonbury wearing a stab vest designed by graffiti-master Banksy and proceeded to tear through politics, racism and Britain’s ever-growing knife crime problem. Stormzy's much-awaited world tour will take him to 53 cities around the globe but Dubai will be his only stop in the Middle East. Ticket prices and venue details are yet to be released. From Dubai, he’ll go on to play in Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, North America, the UK and Africa. Tour dates run from February to September 2020. The 26-year-old grime artist shot to fame in 2014 when he released his debut EP Dreamers Disease. He was subsequently named best Grime Act at the 2014 and 2015 MOBO Awards. In 2017, he released his debut album Gang Signs & Prayer which went to the top of the UK and Irish charts and entered the charts around Europe.
