If you're looking for upbeat club anthems, electronic sounds or trendy guest features, look elsewhere: R&B crooner Joe's ninth album, The Good, the Bad, the Sexy, is chock-full of the slow jams and soulful ballads that propelled him to fame during his 1990s glory days.

Although Joe is an artist whose musical consistency proved successful in the past, this tried-and-tested approach lets the album down at times. Tracks such as Circles and Dear Joe are mediocre at best and fail to impress. The album's slow pace and the substandard production on some tracks could easily bore the more casual listener.
But what the album lacks in musical variety and production polish, it makes up for with Joe's unmatched raw vocal talent and irresistible signature sound. Joe's grounded approach to R&B works in his favour on standout tracks such as Tonight, Impossible and Almost There, proving he still has what it takes.
Although not Joe's best effort, The Good, the Bad, the Sexy is one of this year's better R&B albums. While it probably won't gain him any new listeners, it certainly won't disappoint the loyal fan base who appreciate his dedication to keeping true, modern R&B alive.

Libya's Gold
UN Panel of Experts found regime secretly sold a fifth of the country's gold reserves.
The panel’s 2017 report followed a trail to West Africa where large sums of cash and gold were hidden by Abdullah Al Senussi, Qaddafi’s former intelligence chief, in 2011.
Cases filled with cash that was said to amount to $560m in 100 dollar notes, that was kept by a group of Libyans in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
A second stash was said to have been held in Accra, Ghana, inside boxes at the local offices of an international human rights organisation based in France.

Safety 'top priority' for rival hyperloop company
The chief operating officer of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Andres de Leon, said his company's hyperloop technology is “ready” and safe.
He said the company prioritised safety throughout its development and, last year, Munich Re, one of the world's largest reinsurance companies, announced it was ready to insure their technology.
“Our levitation, propulsion, and vacuum technology have all been developed [...] over several decades and have been deployed and tested at full scale,” he said in a statement to The National.
“Only once the system has been certified and approved will it move people,” he said.
HyperloopTT has begun designing and engineering processes for its Abu Dhabi projects and hopes to break ground soon.
With no delivery date yet announced, Mr de Leon said timelines had to be considered carefully, as government approval, permits, and regulations could create necessary delays.

Classification of skills
A worker is categorised as skilled by the MOHRE based on nine levels given in the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) issued by the International Labour Organisation.

Uefa Nations League: How it Works
The Uefa Nations League, introduced last year, has reached its final stage, to be played over five days in northern Portugal. The format of its closing tournament is compact, spread over two semi-finals, with the first, Portugal versus Switzerland in Porto on Wednesday evening, and the second, England against the Netherlands, in Guimaraes, on Thursday.
The winners of each semi will then meet at Porto’s Dragao stadium on Sunday, with the losing semi-finalists contesting a third-place play-off in Guimaraes earlier that day.
Qualifying for the final stage was via League A of the inaugural Nations League, in which the top 12 European countries according to Uefa's co-efficient seeding system were divided into four groups, the teams playing each other twice between September and November. Portugal, who finished above Italy and Poland, successfully bid to host the finals.
