Prepare to count all her new rules as Dua Lipa is coming to the UAE. The British pop star will perform at The Pointe, on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah, next month, as part of an hours-long celebration. The 24-year-old singer will take to the stage on Friday, November 15, where fans can expect to hear an array of her chart-friendly tunes, including Hotter Than Hell and IDGAF. Lipa will perform on a purpose-built stage over the water, organisers revealed, with tickets on sale on Wednesday, October 2 at www.ticketmaster.ae from Dh250 for general admission and Dh350 for fan-pit access. The festivities will kick off at 4pm, with performances from the Moto Dancers dance crew and a work-out with fitness instructor Jed Latabe at the West Side arena, before Lipa takes to the stage. Many of The Pointe's eateries will offer special brunches and host after-parties on the night, with Restaurants offering special brunches and after-parties include Chalet Berezka, Meshico, Asian District, Kyo and Mama Pho among the restaurants taking part. Free shuttle buses will pick up ticket-holders from various locations on Palm Jumeirah to transport them to and from The Pointe from 4pm. Lipa will return to the UAE after her performance at Louvre Abu Dhabi's one-year anniversary party, held last November, was called off amid extreme weather. Rainstorms and a weather warning from Abu Dhabi Police led to organisers calling off the show. The star has previously performed once in the UAE, with a show at Yas Island's du Forum in February 2018. Tickets for Dua Lipa's show at The Pointe are on sale at www.ticketmaster.ae. Dh100 of the ticket price is redeemable at a range of dining outlets; visit www.thepointe.ae for details.
