Abu Dhabi residents flocked to the capital's recently expanded shopping district, The Galleria, on Friday for their star-studded 12-hour festival.
Block Party At The Galleria featured a host of international and regional acts performing in an outdoor purpose-built stage.
The event begun at midday with the opening of family friendly audience zones, followed by a concert by the Abu Dhabi Police Band. Families were entertained with face painting and showcases by street artists and dancers.
That was followed by an appearance by DJ Jazzy Jeff, the supreme spinner, and former Will Smith side-kick on both television and records.
Egyptian singer Abu, Filipina actress and pop star Nadine Lustre and Bollywood singer and rapper YoYo Honey Singh rounded out the night.
