Abba tribute show to play at Dubai's QE2

If you are an Abba fan then you should take a chance on the latest show in Theatre by QE2.

The dinner music show, Abba Reunion, will perform at the docked luxury ship on June 26 and 27.

Created by the team behind the award mining Abbamania musical and featuring some of the cast from the London West End show, the tribute concert aims to recreate the jubilant songs and stage banter that made Abba such a phenomenal live draw.

Meanwhile, Benny from Abba is feeling the prison blues

When it comes to what is happening to the real members of Abba, Benny Andersson is focusing his attention to more domestic matters.

The pianist and songwriter has lent his name to a campaign protesting plans to build a prison in his hometown of Svedala, located in the outskirts of Malmo. In a recent YouTube video, Andersson expressed (in Swedish) his dismay at the plans, describing it as 'crazy'.

According to Swedish newspaper The Local, he said: "I've lived and had a business just outside Svedala for nearly 25 years now ... in fantastically beautiful surroundings and fields. I think it's crazy to dump a huge prison in the nature there is here. Svedala is much too beautiful for that."
