Wield a lightsabre when Lenovo's Jedi Challenges comes to UAE

Lenovo and Disney, in partnership with Etisalat, are bringing Star Wars: Jedi Challenges to the UAE. The new augmented reality (AR) device allows users to engage in light sabre battles with favourite villains including Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Kylo Ren; control rebel forces in battle against the Empire and First Order, and indulge in a game of holochess, Chewbacca’s favourite time killer on the Millenium Falcon.

The set consists of an AR headset, lightsabre controller and a transmitter which Etisalat demonstrated on its stand at Gitex last week – players must also use a compatible smart phone and an app to enjoy the full experience.

The devices are available for pre-order on Etisalat's website now priced Dh1,199 (http://www.etisalat.ae/starwars), with orders expected to ship in November. The first 200 customers to pre-order will also be invited to an exclusive private screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi when it releases in December.
