Missed ‘Joker’ or ‘Aladdin’? Vox Cinemas is repeating 20 of the year’s top films

As part of the cinema chain’s 20th anniversary, the biggest films from 2019 will be screened until January 8

Think you missed out on some of the year's most popular movies? Well, it isn't too late, as Vox Cinemas has brought back the year's biggest films to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Running until Saturday, January 8, Vox Cinemas is giving audiences the chance to catch 20 box office-breakers including Avengers: Endgame – the highest-grossing film of all time – and the live-action remake of Aladdin. Tickets are set at Dh20 and come with a bucket of popcorn. If you're looking for an added bit of luxury, you can indulge in the Theatre by Rhodes experience for Dh200, which includes a movie ticket and a three-course meal.

The 20-day-long movie throwback will take place at the following locations: Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, Nakheel Mall, City Centre Fujairah, Al Hamra Mall in Ras Al Khaimah, City Centre Ajman, Yas Mall and Al Maryah Island, both in Abu Dhabi, and City Centre Sharjah.

Some of the movies being screened include Marvel blockbusters such as Spider-Man: Far From Home, Keanu Reeves's noir action John Wick 3, the fourth instalment of the animation Toy Story and Joaquin Phoenix's thriller Joker.
