Actress Blake Lively has joined husband Ryan Reynolds in the UAE. The pair were spotted enjoying dinner at BBQ Al Qasr at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, where Reynolds has spent the past week shooting scenes for his latest movie 6 Underground.
Joined by other members of the cast and crew including Ben Hardy, Lior Raz, Mélanie Laurent, Corey Hawkins and Manuel Rulfo, the A-list couple enjoyed a dinner overlooking the UAE Presidential Palace and the Marina Eye.
Lively was later pictured in a snap alongside the 6 Underground cast. The Netflix movie is said to be the most expensive ever made by the streaming app, with the shoot causing a lot of excitement in the capital.
Much of the filming took place on Reem Island last week, attracting crowds of onlookers and fans. One resident captured video footage showing a high-speed car chase taking place featuring three major explosions on the side of the street.
The shoot, which is set to last a month, is taking place at various locations around the UAE including the Liwa desert, Sharjah and Ras al Khaimah.
Reynolds has already spoken of his excitement to be filming in the UAE.
"Shooting in Abu Dhabi is going to be one of the highlights of this production, although you’ll have to wait until the movie hits Netflix to find out why," he said last week. "We’ve only been here a few days so far, but the welcome from everyone has been amazing and I can’t wait to explore Abu Dhabi more.”
