It’s safe to say that 2020 has not been the year anyone was expecting. And actress Reese Witherspoon has perfectly illustrated how we all feel with a new social media challenge that has gone viral.
Using a 3x3 grid to lay out the first nine months of the year, the meme shows Witherspoon start out the year as the bubbly Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, with her mood gradually devolving into Cheryl Strayed, her character in Wild. She captioned it: "Yup. #2020challenge."
It seems the internet agreed with the meme's sentiment, as her post has garnered almost 1.5 million likes.
Soon after posting, other celebrities jumped on the challenge and began sharing their take on the year.
