The Podium Lounge Grand Prix after-party offers a chance to see Rolling Stone’s official artist, Brent Benger, painting F1-themed masterpieces live.
His post-racing painting sessions at du Forum, from November 27 to 29, will bring to life racing greats Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel and, of course, Yas Marina Circuit. So even if the drivers themselves don’t turn up to the party, at least you can say you saw them there.
Benger has previously painted sporting action at the Monaco Grand Prix and the MGM Grand Hotel for the Floyd Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao Fight, and he was the official artist for the 2015 Rolling Stone Super Bowl.
As Benger gets stuck into his artwork, party goers can enjoy a line up which includes Freemasons + Katherine Ellis (who wrote and performed the title track for the Oscar-winning film Gravity), Mark Doyle + Fierce Angel (of Hed Kandi fame), LMFAO’s 8KY 6LU, and house classics Joey Negro and Dimitri from Paris.
