Sharjah Art Foundation hosting short courses in artistic disciplines

Sharjah Art Foundation (SAF) is hosting a series of short courses over the month of May at the Sharjah Art Institute, designed for a range of age groups. These include a class on Relief Sculpture by Dr Najat Makki, an Introduction to Curating Contemporary Art by Sheikha Hoor Al Qasimi, a course on the History of Eastern Music by Ali Al Abdan and a workshop on Sculpture Using Found Objects by Dr Mohamed Yousef. The programme also offers courses for children and teenagers (age 6-18) such as Art Using Recycled Objects and Sketching Buildings.

Opened in 1997 in Sharjah Arts Area to provide art education for the community, Sharjah Art Institute, is now one of Sharjah Art Foundations’ venues and art centres.
