  • Arabic

An exhibition of calligraphic art is part of the Ramadan celebrations at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Dia’a Allam, an Egyptian artist who was born in Ajman is presenting a selection of his works at the mall. Allam’s work takes a modern twist on traditional calligraphy and uses graphic elements of design as well as contemporary art.

As well as the ongoing exhibition, throughout the Holy month, Arabic coffee and dates will be served at weekends and a falcon stand will delight guests. During the final ten days of Ramadan and throughout Eid, there will be a range of arts and crafts activities for children and a henna artist and sand bottle artist.
