Art work by American singer-songwriter Moby and Julian Lennon, the son of John Lennon, will be going on sale in Dubai next month as part of World Art Dubai – the city’s first affordable art fair. The musicians-turned-photographers both represented by New York City’s Emmanuel Fremin Gallery are just some of the famous names bringing art work to the city from April 8-11.

Taken during his travels through Kenya and Ethiopia, Lennon's prints are from his recent Horizons collection, where the artist captured a wide variety of images of indigenous cultures to help raise awareness of their plights.

Moby will feature photographs from his Innocents series – the signature print of which also featured on the cover of his 2013 album of the same name. Shot in both natural and artificial environments, the collection features various hybrid human-animal characters draped in white fabrics and with skulls or animal masks instead of heads.

World Art Dubai is the city’s first affordable art fair and will be hosted at Dubai World Trade Centre. With a wide-ranging programme featuring workshops, artist-led talks, seminars and dedicated educational platforms for children, World Art Dubai will also feature live music, DJs and hospitality areas.
