Marsam Mattar, the gallery founded by Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej (who designed the wonderful stainless steel sculpture pictured here that was on show during Ramadan in The Dubai Mall), is opening a new art-themed cafe called Sketch.
To launch the new cafe, Bin Lahej is inviting all artists to contribute to an exhibition of art inspired by coffee. My Coffee or Qahwati, will show the tradition of coffee, celebrate the flavours and the smells as well as offer visitors to the cafe, the chance to experience art and design based around this subject in a new environment.
