I’m a little late in posting this but the new exhibition at The Third Line opened on Wednesday evening during the first iteration of Alserkal Lates. During the month of Ramadan, all the galleries are opening late each Wednesday and some are co-ordinating openings. The upstairs gallery at The Third Line was painted a delicious purple colour and populated with Farah Al Qasimi’s highly individual photographs. Her style captures banal every day scenes but they are full of colour, pattern, shadow or interesting light and so, transform into pieces of art.
The show runs for a month as part of the summer programming.
