Let’s see what Tyler Rollins, from Tyler Rollins Fine Art Gallery in New York had to say:
- How did you find the fair?
We were very pleased with the opening and the response from collectors and museum groups and I think every day we have had some interesting exchanges with people from all over the world.
- What was the best bit?
My best experience has been the interesting conversations that we have had with such a range of people who we would never normally meet in New York. The most enjoyable thing about being in an art fair is to be able to talk about the work to people who are just interested in art whether it is curators, connoisseurs or just first timers.
- What was the worst bit?
It takes 13 hours to get here, which is a lot of travelling. That is the worst part.
- Will you be coming back?
Oh definitely. I think this is a well-run fair, it is a pleasant environemtn to work and it has a very unique character, it has a storng regional component that you don’t always see but it is also very global at the same time. That balance is very hard to achieve
