From Experimenter Gallery in Kolkata, Prateek Raja gives us his opinion:
- How did you find the fair?
Art Dubai is always excellent for us. We get to have very engaging conversations and attract many very important collectors. We have been coming for four years and we have had continued to meet institutions that range from large to small ones, it has all been very positive.-
- What was the best bit?
This year has been better than ever before for us. Also, I thought the Projects were interesting as well as the Global Art Forum, which had a very exciting line up. The Modern section also has huge potential.
The best thing is the way the organisers interact with the galleries not just from business point of view but how we are feeling and how they could make the fair better.
- What was the worst bit?
This year, the VIP handling was a little less smooth than it could be. For example the cars didn’t come on time, which was a bit disappointing in the beginning but it all got ironed out in the end.
- Will you be coming back?
Of course. The first year we did this fair it was them who invited us and so they showed us their commitment and since then, we are totally committed to this fair. It has been a great journey so far.
