During a whistle-stop trip to Hong Kong, Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana unveiled their Oriental-inspired couture collection before an audience of 240 VIPs. Click on our exclusive videos of the models walking the catwalk and the designers taking their lap of honour to the applause of the crowd.

“There are lots of peacocks and butterflies – many kimono influences, too,” says Gabbana. “Gold is a very important colour in China, just like red – it’s really lucky – and that’s why you’ll see it everywhere in the collection.”

Following the Alta Artigianalità show on December 2, the duo held a reception at their flagship store in Hong Kong’s Alexandra House. Fans of the brand and high-profile clients flocked to the boutique for a meet-and-greet with the designers. Check out our slideshow of the stylish set and the brand’s new seasonal pret-a-porter offerings.
