Italian fashion house Valentino, long known for its elegant couture dresses, offers a fragrance created in the same mould.
Perfumers Sonia Constant and Antoine Maisondieu were challenged with producing a scent that was complex yet understated, much like couture. The resultant aroma is a blend of sensual rose essence with bergamot and iris. Additional notes of warm leather and patchouli, with a touch of vanilla, create a scent that is mysteriously subtle. Entitled Donna – Italian for woman – the fragrance comes dressed in an elegant cut-glass bottle with gold detailing.
Valentino has now also released Donna as a hair mist, which, as the name suggests, will leave a delicate trace of scent in your locks.
Donna Eau de Parfum is priced at Dh510 for 100ml, while the hair mist is available in 30ml for Dh190.
