Jeremy Scott showed his autumn/winter 2017 collection for Moschino in Milan on Thursday, and, in keeping with the fast-fashion, see now, buy now route that the industry is taking, a runway capsule collection is already up for grabs at Stylebop.com.

Kendall Jenner opened the Moschino autumn/winter 2017 runway show, and on her head was a cardboard box topped with a black net veil. The next few looks featured more cardboard spectacles. Light brown textiles were stamped with bar codes, measurements and warning labels reading “fragile” and “caution,” and took the form of blazers, jackets, coats, skirts and trousers. One top looked like a crumpled paper bag, with Moschino’s logo drawn on in permanent marker. Later, the lid of a rubbish bin was used as a hat for a model, while cross-body purses appeared as minuscule rubbish bins. The words “trash chic” were emblazoned across one black T-shirt.

The runway capsule collection available on Stylebop includes select pieces from the catwalk, including the rubbish-bin bags and paper-bag top. Other offerings include sweatshirts, hoodies, T-shirts and a backpack, printed with rodents. Some of the animals wear T-shirts reading “rat-a-porter”, while others are dressed in newspaper gowns or banana peels. The range is clearly inspired by recycling and dumpster-diving, although it’s naturally priced with a far less accessible budget in mind. A mousetrap-printed iPhone case is priced at Dh230, while the crumpled paper bag top costs Dh2,710.
