Indian designer-to-the-stars Ritu Kumar will be in town to open her second Dubai store on September 20.
The eponymous boutique, which will be located on level 1 of Dubai Festival City Mall, follows the successful opening of her flagship boutique in Dubai's BurJuman Centre in recent years.
Kumar — best known for reviving traditionalist textiles and techniques in her contemporary line of tunics, lehngas, saris and separates — has dressed a host of Bollywood stars in her 45-year career. Her famous fans include Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
