Caftans, babydoll dresses and micro-minis were the order of the day at the Jill Stuart show. Abstract dots and embroidery provided the only distraction from the American designer's monochromatic palette.

"The inspiration is rock stars' girlfriends on holiday and what they are wearing back in 1971 and in the south of France," Ms Stuart said after the show. She said she had just returned from Patmos in Greece when inspiration struck.

There were some peek-a-boo cropped tops.

And our top pick, a tunic paired with teeny shorts. Beachy yet chic.
