Harrods has spent the past month celebrating the art of perfume with a number of floral-based initiatives. The store-takeover concept, Pop-Up Flowers, showcased 22 brands — displayed in the store’s iconic windows — including Dior, Viktor & Rolf, Moroccanoil, Jo Malone London and Valentino.

The Flower Wall, on display until end of day today, allows customers to choose paper flowers from the wall and remove their petals to reveal a prize or an exclusive Pop-Up Flowers seedbomb. Prizes include a holiday package at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and prizes worth Dh5,620 to spend in store.

Finally, Harrods exhibited a concept garden at the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show, which took place earlier this month. The collaboration — named The Fragrance Garden — brought in the expertise of garden designer Sheena Seeks, and used the concept of perfume making as its theme. On one side of the display were flowers enclosed in oversized laboratory beakers and test tubes while on the other side were flowers transformed into giant paper blooms.
