H&M unveils its autumn/winter 2015 studio collection

The runways have been bombarding us with 70s-inspired fashion recently, and H&M is the latest brand to jump on board, with its autumn/winter 2015 studio collection. But don’t expect any typical turtlenecks in this capsule — designs are given a refreshing, contemporary twist, with the use of zipper details, super high slits and cropped silhouettes.

Tones are earthy, with nude shades, deep greens and burnt red and oranges, which are also featured in a somewhat psychedelic, abstract zigzag print. There’s a fine mix of chunky and sleek components to the designs, and both urban and city attitudes are equally portrayed. Perhaps these are pieces that the country girl packs for her exciting city escape, where she can shed the conventional and embrace modern, effortless fashion. She’s sure to have fun with the tasteful dose of glitter mixed with suede and leather-like textiles.
