Hermès and Apple have collaborated to create spring-themed timepieces, which include a brand-new model as well as three band options in shades of sky blue, lime yellow and cobalt.

The Spring 2017 collection pairs the new Hermès Apple Watch with the French luxury brand’s Double Buckle Cuff in Fauve Barénia calfskin, and includes an exclusive Hermès Sport Band in signature orange.

Previous editions of the timepieces can be paired with three new band colours crafted from Hermès leathers. These include: the 38mm Double Tour in Bleu Zéphyr Epsom calfskin; the 42mm Single Tour in Lime Epsom calfskin; and the 42mm Single Tour in Colvert Swift calfskin.

The latest collection melds handcrafted leather bands from Hermès and Apple-designed watch faces. The dials are based on the Clipper, Cape Cod and Espace Hermès watch designs.

The Single Tour timepieces are a nod to Hermès’s equestrian heritage, while the extra-long band of the Double Tour timepieces wrap twice around the wrist for an added twist. The new Double Buckle Cuff timepiece, meanwhile, is inspired by an iconic Hermès sandal design.

You can also choose the colour of the Hermès leather band or bands, as the case might be, to match the look of your Apple Watch to any outfit.

The Spring 2017 Apple Watch Hermès and Apple Watch Hermès bands are now available to order on apple.com and hermes.com. The Single Tour editions are priced from US$339 (Dh1,245); the Double Tour is $489 (Dh1,795); and the new Double Buckle Cuff is $689 (Dh2,530).

Farage on Muslim Brotherhood

Nigel Farage told Reform's annual conference that the party will proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood if he becomes Prime Minister.
"We will stop dangerous organisations with links to terrorism operating in our country," he said. "Quite why we've been so gutless about this – both Labour and Conservative – I don't know.
“All across the Middle East, countries have banned and proscribed the Muslim Brotherhood as a dangerous organisation. We will do the very same.”
It is 10 years since a ground-breaking report into the Muslim Brotherhood by Sir John Jenkins.
Among the former diplomat's findings was an assessment that “the use of extreme violence in the pursuit of the perfect Islamic society” has “never been institutionally disowned” by the movement.
The prime minister at the time, David Cameron, who commissioned the report, said membership or association with the Muslim Brotherhood was a "possible indicator of extremism" but it would not be banned.
