Alice + Olivia’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection has taken inspiration from CEO and Creative Director, Stacey Bendet’s visit to Versailles. Featuring a colour palette that uses white and black as its anchor, the collection mixes cool lavender, coral and aqua tones, with shades of sunset orange, canary yellow and umbrella blue. Pieces with graphic prints can also be found in the new line, highlighting images derived from both Matisse and Picasso, along with a digital image of the palace gardens at Versailles.
The collection includes a pleated silk chiffon handkerchief hemmed gown, pencil dresses, ankle length trousers, high-waisted striped culottes, and crepe wide leg trousers. Each piece can stand alone or combined to create a modern-romantic meets rocker-chick vibe.
“The collection is filled with print and texture and I truly wanted each piece of clothing to almost feel like its own piece of art. From Picasso inspired beaded shifts to bohemian draped Lola Schnabel printed dresses the collection is an art installation all on its own,” says Bendet.
Alice + Olivia’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection is available at the Mall of the Emirates.
