US investigators raid Rudy Giuliani's apartment and seize electronics

Federal investigators on Wednesday searched the New York City apartment of Rudolph Giuliani, a former New York City mayor and personal lawyer to former US president Donald Trump.

The investigators seized electronic devices from the residence as part of the process of stepping up a criminal investigation into Mr Giuliani, The New York Times reported.

Prosecutors in Manhattan have been investigating Mr Giuliani's business dealings in Ukraine. Two former associates, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, have been charged with campaign finance violations and other crimes.

Mr Giuliani could not immediately be reached for comment.
