King Abdullah laid to rest in Riyadh - in pictures

Foreign dignitaries gathered in a cavernous mosque in Riyadh on Friday for the funeral of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah who died in the early hours of January 23, 2015.

King Abdullah was buried in an unmarked grave as per tradition at the El Ud cemetery in Riyadh, where common Saudi citizens also rest.
