A huge fire fuelled by thousands of scrap tyres in northern England forced the closure of schools and the cancellation of trains.
More than 70 firefighters were working to put out the blaze, which started at a go-kart track in Bradford at about 4.30am.
A plume of thick black smoke was seen billowing from the scene as the fire service urged people to keep their windows closed.
Three schools were closed on advice from firefighters, while Northern Rail diverted trains away from the area.
Roads were also closed.
Northern Rail said there was a "large fire at a go-kart track next to the railway at Bradford Interchange. About 8,000 tyres and railway equipment are at risk from the fire, which is about 50 metres from the railway”.
