At least six people, thought to be mostly Afghan security cadets in training, were killed when a suicide bomber detonated near a military training camp in west Kabul on Thursday.
Six others were wounded in the blast near the Mashal Fahim National Defense University near Police District 5, two security officials told Reuters.
The attacker appeared to have been on foot and the attack was timed with the moment the cadets were leaving the academy for their holiday, local media reported.
The cause of the blast was not clear, and no group has taken responsibility.
